What can I do to be respectful of my Muslim friends during Ramadan? In some Muslim countries, it is a crime to eat and drink in public during the day in the month of Ramadan, even if you're not Muslim.

How right you are FRiend. That is the wrench in Islam. Anyone who ISN'T sufficiently violent will get the head choppers' wrath more than a Christian or Jew. But I tell you this from my first hand experience. There was NEVER any distrust between any of us (my friends of all religious groups, Hindu, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Athiest). NO tension existed pre-Obama. Obama has destroyed, on purpose, any respect and trust we had for each other. He is the great divider. It is a sad thing.
