Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James told C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” on Friday that she is “certain” that transgender people will be allowed to serve in the U.S. military “in a more open way.”

Do we no longer have the ability to say, that someone who is trans and having hormone treatments and all of that, doesn’t belong in the military?
Do we no longer have any ability to say, such a person could be a danger to himself and others in a combat zone?
Isn’t it a fact that people with various medical conditions are excluded from combat???? And wouldn’t these “trans” people be in the same type of category???
Or is life just totally about political correctness nowadays??? Do the needs of the military have to take 2nd place to political correctness and appeasing the LGBT peoples???

When did we decide that mental illness is not a disqualification from military service. Yes it is a mental illness. If you cannot accept you own God given identity, how can you be expected to except identities given to you by others such as your commanders? Airman, (can that title be used anymore) that person over there is the enemy, kill him. (The Airman) Sir I do not identify that person as an enemy.
I cry for my Air Force, for my country, as they both slide down the shit hole.
The 0dunga regime is busy trying to ram all this chit through before a possible Republican presidency come Jan. 2017. We desperately need a civil war in this country.
Let’s just give them their own branch. The USTGC - U.S. Trans Gender Corps. Then they can serve as openly as they want, and all the other branches can mock them instead of the Navy for a change.
