Called and told my relative that Mexicans attacking those attending a Trump rally was crossing the line and inviting violence and possibly a civil war. She answered, "Did you hear the things Trump is saying about us?" and that was all she kept repeating.
So, in the Mexicans minds, any criticism of what they are doing is justification for violence against Americans. This is going to turn into a real problem.
3rd world mentality. And we are being flooded with it.

This is GW Bush’s “family values don’t stop at the Rio Grande”. Jeb! Bush’s “acts of love”. And of course Barky Obama’s street thug army.
All the times Trump has repeated that he likes and hires Mexicans are apparently lost on her. If she doesn’t believe that rapists and criminals are coming over the border, then she needs to look at Los Angeles’s Most Wanted list. But Trump never said they were ALL rapists and criminals.
You should have replied, "what do you mean by 'us'"? Are you here illegally? Then he's not talking about you, and you're not "us." And if you mean, by "us," all Mexicans, then look at how strict the Mexican immigraton laws are - why shouldn't we have that same level of strictness here?

Mexico would really improve if those ambitious, hard-working Mexicans MOST disgusted with their system had nowhere to go.
We’re a pressure valve for a corrupt system that badly wants to remain unchanged, i.e., corrupt.
And the corrupt, Krony Capitalist system here content with a warped labor-market featuring artificially depressed wages also wants to remain unchanged.
The status quo in both countries represents a war by an elite against the great popular mass of people.
