Trump vs. Hillary:November’s Grim Choice for Conservatives
National Review ^ | June 2, 1016 | Ramesh Ponnuru

Posted on 06/02/2016 4:46:49 AM PDT by jpsb

Say what you will about Donald Trump, but he has never lied to the families of dead servicemen. He has not committed himself to appointing to the Supreme Court left-wing justices who would protect a right to abortion found nowhere in the Constitution.

The choice isn’t grim. There’s only one rational choice in 2016.

It is not a grim choice at all. I can give you the names of the last three politicians I have voted FOR, because I wanted to see them in office. Donald Trump. Sarah Palin. Ronald Reagan. Those three, I -WANTED- to elevate to office.

The others were mere damage control. Triage.

November is not going to be grim choice for this conservative. I’m going to merrily dance a little jig down to the polling place and vote for Trump without a second thought or reservation. While it’s true that Trump may not be 100% conservative on every issue, he certainly is as conservative if not more so that the last several establishment certified candidates the party has forced on us (Romney, McCain, Bush Jr., Dole, Bush Sr.)

If you don’t agree with it, why post and promore this garbage?

National Review should be blacklisted. They want Hillary.

Also, Donald Trump likely wouldn’t send political rivals to jail on bogus charges.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Ramesh.

Did the NR think McCain and Romney had us facing "grim choices"?

Mygosh, I used to think the Illuminati thing was a conspiracy theory. Now we know it's the only explanation to describe the globalists who strive to destroy the planet in preference to their personal wealth and power.

Ramesh Ponnuru, for whom Mitt Romney wasn’t a bridge too far. Ponnuru endorsed Romney long before the primaries started in in the 2012 election season. ‘Nuff said.

The single biggest issue this cycle is (illegal) immigration. If we do not fix our broken system in the next couple of years the Republic is lost, and we native born American will be screwed. It is a "no brain-er" that Trump is a vastly better choice for any thinking (conservative) American.

This election it's the (crony capitalists) Globalist elites Vrs the patriotic Americans and Trump is our guy.

Sit out the election and you are in effect voting for open borders, "we are the world Hillary" and more meaningless wars.

Don't vote for Trump and you are letting the progressive left flood the nation with tens of millions of new Marxists voters. Once that happens American conservatism will be on the "ash heap of history".

NRO’s David French couldn’t elected dogcatcher.

And their staff writer is on record as saying he hates blue collar white Americans.

Its just not worth reading the filth they peddle as conservatism.

Well put. I agree completely. For me, voting Trump is a positive, happy choice.

I posted it because Mark Levin said it was "A Pretty good synopsis" since Levin is a leading #NeverTrump-er I thought it would wise to know what they are thinking and why they are thinking that.
