A few years ago, I was going into a local government indoctrination center and stepped on a small piece of fabric on the way in. I realized it was part of the school’s American flag.
It had been neglected for so long that it shredded. I picked it up and took it home for proper disposal.
The next day, I sent an e-mail to the Principal reminding him of his duty to instill patriotism in the children under his supposed care.
To allow a flag, on a public building to become so neglected is malfeasance of duty.
He emailed back and asked me if he had to go to Congress to get a flag.
Did I mention that this moron was the Principal of a high school?
I replied that for about $26 he can get an American made flag at Wal-Mart or just about any hardware store.
This case sounds like a mechanical or knot failure and the flag is in good repair.
Well done young man!
