Pookie and I have had some very pleasant exchanges both on the forum and by freepmail in the more than two years that have elapsed since I scolded on this thread in defense of the candidacy of Donald J. Trump.
I give Pookie credit for understanding that we were dealing with the heated issues of the time, when many regulars on FR, and its owner, were struggliing to choose the horse that could actually win the race against Hillary and the Deep State. We eventually, as a community, chose to back the winner. There were a lot of freeper-on-freeper squabbles to get to that point.
In the years since then, Pookie has moved on, as I have also. He and I have never had a bad word since that time. I enjoy his toon threads; the content of the toons has also moved on.
Now you want to dig up the corpse of an issue that was dead and rotted.
He's a grown man. He doesn't need daddy coming out in the road with a shotgun. He has already manfully solved the problem. But thanks on his behalf for your loyalty.
