In Washington my dad had a beautiful Australian Shepherd, intact male.

A female Coyote in heat lured him into the woods and by the time my dad found him there was little left but the head and a few patches of fur.

I have seen photos of the results of coyote/dog interactions.

It’s just as you say and horrible, beyond words.

Coyotes are vermin. They should be shot on site and we should pay bounty for their hides.
