And so it is with EVERY Marine. I’m 75 and when I greet a fellow Marine, of whatever age, with a hearty Semper fi, it always comes back Semper fi, brother.
My bride of 51 years NOW understands the bond between all Marines. It took a chance meeting in the Ferrari store in Venice five years ago. The Semper fi’s were exchanged, when the man’s wife exclaimed: “My goodness, halfway around the world, total strangers and with two words, you are brothers”. We both smiled, talked and went our separate ways.

proud daughter and sister of Army veterans, and honored to know quite a few Marines, i used to manage an American Legion and could always spot the Marines..... no matter the age.
