Sounds like they’ve got a more accurate view of the world than does the Pope.

I find it odd that people think the Quran is somehow immune to the same literary/critical “exegesis” that has so changed the face of biblical scholarship. The West will not be Islamized. Islam will be tamed and Westernized into something socially acceptable. I see it happening.

Too much business is being done with Muslim countries and this means that the business elite and the political elite they control want to accommodate Islam.
They’re fools, foolish enough to hope and believe in and promote some modification of Islam to their liking.
The leftish intellectual elites strongly believe their ideology expressed in the education system can modify the thinking of Muslims so they heartily welcome immigrants and celebrate liberalism in Muslim settings.
