Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner perfectly summarized the amazing results of a new Gallup Poll in his opening two paragraphs:
Women are increasingly turning their noses up at the 2016 election, including Democratic women despite the likelihood that their partys nominee will be one of them, according to a new Gallup survey of the gender gap in those closely following the election.
Women have never paid as much attention to the current race as men, but Gallup found that the attention gap has expanded in recent months.
Before jumping into the substance of the Gallup Poll, lets just reflect for one second. How many times have we been told/lectured/hectored that the public in general, women in particular owe Hillary Clinton their vote as the first serious female candidate for President?
Clinton supporter, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, was just revealing the thou-shall-not-doubt-Hillary group think when she pronounced , [T]heres a special place in hell for women who dont help each other.
Back to a different gender gap, as revealed by Gallup. Back in February men were paying more attention than women to the presidential election by an insignificant 2 points. Now the gap is a whopping 13 points44% to 31%. And while the margins are different, it applies to both Democrats and Republicans.
The gender gap persists within both parties, said Gallups Frank Newport. An aggregated analysis of March and April responses shows that Republican men are eight points more likely than Republican women to be following the election very closely, while Democratic men are 11 points more likely than Democratic women.
What about it we take just women, in both parties? Just 30 percent of Democratic women are paying attention to the race, compared to 44 percent of Republican women, Bedard writes.
My first thought was that this lacking of attention might be limited to particular age groups. Not so. Gallups Newport writes
Age, too, does not appear to be a direct factor in this relationship. The gender gap in the percentages who very closely follow election news persists across all three major age groups: nine points among those 18 to 34 years old, 14 points among 35- to 54-year-olds and 13 points among those 55 and older.
It is impossible to avoid the conclusion that Clinton really is an awful candidate.
bump!
But the dead will all vote for her!
Think it might be because No woman likes a lying conniving beotch unless they are a lying conniving beotch?
I want to know how many she motivated to vote for someone else!
Hillary doesn't care about women, she abuses them, in every way imaginable...and it's been proved, these two books prove it...
She cares about being in the White House, First Female President, Power and Money...no one or nothing else is important to her...
That’s what makes the dead such a valuable voting block for the Dems. They have no choice, and their votes can always be counted on. And that’s why Democrats howl so loudly when any state wants to update their voter rolls.
There is an obvious solution—she can pick a woman for her running mate. That should excite women voters. Elizabeth Warren might bring in the Bernie crowd. Sheila Jackson Lee to make a bid for the Texas electoral votes. Lots of possibilities.
She really is atrocious. How she can, as an unaccomplished eater at the taxpayer-funded trough, rise above 20% in any poll is amazing.
Yet, look at the results in ‘08 and ‘12. A singularly unqualified boob seized power.
These younger women coming up don’t like her because they are caught up in that “rape culture” thing. A lot of that rape culture is over blown but I say it’s real enough, why? Hillary Clinton’s husband started it!
Anyway they don’t like Hillary because of what her husband did in and before the White House. These women for being progressives are rather smart. Her husband ran around with every thing that had a skirt on and she did not care. Bad message to women.
Sheila Jackson Lee could not deliver Texas. She probably couldn’t deliver Houston. :-)
I am glad that these young women are educated in that field, back when I was growing up, if you were raped, it was a given it was your fault by the way you dressed, or acted or the group you ran around with...
I’m glad that people are seeing these two scum slimes for what they really are...I can’t stand them, the whole Clinton Crime Family is disgusting...
GO.TRUMP.GO!!! MAKE HILLARY GO AWAY FOR GOOD!!!
Hillary is twice the boob he is.
(Oops, did I say that?)
” I was growing up, if you were raped, it was a given it was your fault by the way you dressed, or acted or the group you ran around with...”
My parents tried to tell me the way I dressed would get me raped. I did not believe them and read book on rape. I was correct. Rapists don’t care what you wear you are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bill Clinton proved that.
Most women like/love their children and grandchildren. Hillary has proven, with Benghazi and Email/Servergate, that she would be a disaster at national security. Women want a safe environment for their families. Will you feel safe with Hillary as CIC? Women also don’t like liars. It’s in their DNA and they can spot it a mile away. Another fail for Hillary. Oh, and being the head of the Bimbo eruptions unit for Bill? That’s not what most women consider as standing by their man.
And then good ol Clinton buddy Gov. Terry McAuliffe is allowing ex-felons to vote in Virginia. The votes of illegal aliens, dead people, and ex-felons will be put to good use by the Democrats this November.
There are people in this Country that have done hardly anything, compared to the Clintons, and they are behind bars, I have to wonder what goods she has on people that keeps her out of prison...
By the way, I just bought a Tee Shirt that says: “Hillary for Prison 2016” it came yesterday, so as soon as I wash it, I’m going to wear it...in Utah even...LOL...
Time to ratchet up pay equity, abortion rights, # of women as CEO’s and top managers. And so on since that whole gender bending stuff about bathrooms is pissing off the women. At least the ones not surgically modified into something else?
Democrat thought on voter fraud is that it is merely speaking up for those who are disenfranchised. They figure the numbers to cast fraudulent votes to make up that gap to be around 10% of the population.
B..Bibb....”but she works hard for the money”
