The audio and video were not synchronized in that youtube video.

I remember seeing the original SNL performance.

I was never much of a fan, but his Super Bowl halftime was, I’ll say it, better than any of the others. He kicked ass. Period.

Saturday Night Live tonight is titled “Goodnight Sweet Prince.” It’s a tribute to him.

Funny though, how all of these years since the late 80s Prince put out albums and they were largely ignored....it was the same with Bowie in the 90s, although they were some of his best work, but mostly ignored.

The thing most people do not know about Prince is that a lot of his albums were just him. He wrote them, played multiple instruments and did most of the vocals. And he produced them.

Yes, I thought he was a great entertainer. But if you just scratch a little below the surface he was a true genius with his music.

While Michael Jackson did a great job, he had lots of help. Prince had it all.

And I haven’t heard of him being a d-bag to anyone. That is rare these days as well.

I probably won’t see a complete musical talent like that again in my life time.

"Thriller" was all Quincy Jones.

McCartney also played all of the instruments on several of his solo albums.

Reportedly, he needed both hips replaced, but he didn’t get them done because of being a JW and the blood transfusion issue. I could see him being on pain medication because of his hips.

He probably died of acetaminophen induced liver failure.

per TMZ as reported in the Waterloo Chronicle;

“Prince overdosed on the painkiller Percocet that he was taking for a chronic hip problem six days before his death.

The ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker - who was found dead at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota on April 21 - had to be given a “save shot” almost a week before his passing after he became reliant on the highly-addictive drug, which contains acetaminophen and oxycodone, to treat the acute pain he was battling in his joints for years, TMZ reports.”

He may have taken Acetaminophen in Nyquil or something else and damaged his liver, or it may have been damaged to begin with and this just completed the damage.

Apparently Milk Thistle/Silmaryn is something you take as soon as you find out that you ODd on Acetaminaphen.

If that’s the case, The Jehovah’s Witnesses have claimed another victim. Hip replacements are almost routine these days, and he could afford the best surgeon.
