Not really. Gotta leave room for kickbacks in there somewhere.
True. They may also need some new Mr. Fusion atom smashing pencil sharpeners.
Bring back DDT.
"Of these, fewer than 500 cases have been confirmed, and the Zika virus has only been identified in 41.22 Meanwhile, in the U.S. approximately 25,000 infants are diagnosed with microcephaly each year without Zika."
that would tend to indicate that the virus is not THE cause, if a cause.
However, noting the Gates' relationship with Monsanto, agricultural chemicals may have some causative effect on the apparent 'outbreak', and this may be an attempt to deflect scrutiny from where it belongs. Microcephaly cases in Brazil predate Zika virus outbreak, study says [Second look...] (see link at post 17)
Three hundred and fifty dollar claw hammers come to mind.
Does the acronym DDT ring a bell? Perhaps it’s time to drag the forbidden stuff out of the closet, before a whole generation is as microcephalic as our politicians.
More population control stuff. Kill the babies who have it, deny health care payments for adults who have it; create a vaccine that sterilizes/kills off another group (I read a report that Zika “stays in the testicles” and is sexually transmitted...) pretty soon you have reduced the population by quite a bit. It’s probably a virus that has been manufactured by the Gates Foundation or some big Pharma company.
The money is for Big Pharma to create a mandatory vaccine to stop this public health program!! The vaccine has probably already been created and probably works in people the way Round-Up works in plants, very scary, human-gene-altering stuff. But the gov can justify using it in a public health crisis. Great side effects — population control via sterility if you take the vaccine, and via killing off babies or denying health care to those who have the virus. I know it is insomnia nightmare stuff but this is where the imagination goes with fascism!!!
I have no problems with the return of DDT.
While that may eliminate most mosquitoes, Zika may not be the cause of the neurological problems and birth defects.
I was looking and maps of spread of Aedes aegypti mosquitos. The map showed they were confined to southern states below Virginia. Then I found an article about a mosquito scientist who found these mosquitoes near the Capitol in DC in 2012, and has found them every year since. Lots of the people coming back are US citizens, and with the Olympics in Brazil there will be a lot more. I am doing more research and will have additional comments.
i have no scientific verification of that, but the lay of the land is similar to that of peninsular VA, and the climate little different. As you gain elevation into the piedmont (above the fall line), I would expect that to change.
Genetically modified mosquitos?
In Puerto Rico, the government has been recommending Vitamin C in high doses for Dengue and Chikungunya Viruses carried by the Aedes egypti mosquito. I see no reason why this might not be good practice against Zika illness. In fact I have found some links to that effect by Googling “Zika and Vitamin C treatment”, but it is after 4 am and I have to get some sleep.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION:
Since October 2012, the combined tetanus toxoid, reduced diphtheria toxoid, acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap) has been recommended in the United States during every pregnancy.
METHODS:
In this observational study from the Vaccine Safety Datalink, we describe receipt of Tdap during pregnancy among insured women with live births across seven health systems. Using a retrospective matched cohort, we evaluated risks for selected medically attended adverse events in pregnant women, occurring within 42 days of vaccination. Using a generalized estimating equation, we calculated adjusted incident rate ratios (AIRR).
RESULTS:
Our vaccine coverage cohort included 438,487 live births between January 1, 2007 and November 15, 2013. Across the coverage cohort, 14% received Tdap during pregnancy. By 2013, Tdap was administered during pregnancy in 41.7% of live births, primarily in the 3rd trimester. Our vaccine safety cohort included 53,885 vaccinated and 109,253 matched unvaccinated pregnant women. There was no increased risk for a composite outcome of medically attended acute adverse events within 3 days of vaccination. Similarly, across the safety cohort, over a 42 day window, incident neurologic events, thrombotic events, and new onset proteinuria did not differ by maternal receipt of Tdap. Among women receiving Tdap at 20 weeks gestation or later, as compared to their matched controls, there was no increased risk for gestational diabetes or cardiac events while venous thromboembolic events and thrombocytopenia were diagnosed within 42 days of vaccination at slightly decreased rates.
CONCLUSION:
Tdap coverage during pregnancy increased from 2007 through 2013, but was still below 50%. No acute maternal safety signals were detected in this large cohort.

Given that there is no known mechanism by which the antigens contained in a vaccine can travel from the injection site at the arm to the brain, those antigens cannot possibly cause any kind of brain damage. The immunity from those antigens also does not cause brain damage--immunity from disease in general has not been observed to affect brain structure or function, although many diseases prevented by induced immunity can and do cause brain damage.
Have there actually been cases of birth defects caused by the Zika virus other than in Brazil where the immunization was given? I can’t find mention of any, but I could be wrong.
It is frightening what our betters do to us.
You would think from all the hype that Zika is worse than the bubonic plague.
