If Trump actually honors voters and doesn’t steal other candidates delegates , how is that weak?

Because Trump's a chump.

Q. What do you call politicians who actually abide by the will of the people instead of using whatever lawyeresque tomfoolery they can to game the system in their favour?

A. A loser.

When we have such a corrupt culture and all its influences that are hammering down every day on Donald Trump, it’s amazing how well he is doing.

And I mean by corrupt culture and all its influences, it includes the GOP establishment, the corrupt Ted Cruz campaign, the Dem party, the local and national medias, the entertainment industry, the Wall St cronies, academia and so on, have all come together as an unholy alliance to try to take out this one private citizen, Donald Trump.

May God be with Donald Trump and his family as this unholy alliance tries to destroy him.

If this is the best response you've got, then we are simply doomed. How about telling us how many candidates were running simultaneously in the previous elections? If you can't answer that, then we are simply doomed.

I leave it up to the original poster. Because "Your guy is worse", means we are doomed. And just for the record, I have no guy.

For fun I did some number crunching.
I took the delegates gained by trump and Cruz in winner take all and winner take most states and divied them out proportionalply based on % of vote.

The effect is dramatic.
Trump -128
Cruz +56

Trump leads Cruz 615 to 601 with 386 delegates going elsewhere.

With those counts, neither one can reach 1237 by proportional delegate counts and it should go to a contested convention.

If folks want pre-determined rules to be chucked out state by state and delegates awarded proportional to the voters - it goes contested every time. So, trump fans who don’t like the rules - Cruz wins by picking up the left overs (386) when trump and Cruz are the only two on the ballot.

THey know they can kick Cruz out with a birthplace lawsuit. Done deal. The problem is getting rid of Trump, so they can have either a GOPe like Ryan or Hillary. Makes no difference to the Uniparty, just look at how much Priebus et al have suffered under 8 years of Democrat rule.

At the rate they’re going they will lose the Senate too.

Ready to vote for Bernie and hasten the end?

That is just so weird. You wouldn’t expect that open and organized attacks from his own party home office would have that kind of effect./s

A mountain of dirt on Cruz awaiting to be unleashed. ObamaBot campaign manager Plouffe said last month on CNN, in a moment of candor, says they want Cruz.

Candidates have been dropping out all along. Rubio dropped out a month ago. I think the point is Donald's numbers haven't been rising in correlation.

Of course not. Donald Trump has the entire Corrupt Establishment lined up against him with relentless character assassination: the Left/Media/Establishment/GOPe are all combined in an unholy alliance of non-stop slanted, propaganda-filled demonization.

That's going to have an effect on anybody. Not a very good tactic to employ against a party's presumptive nominee. Suicidal, even.

Heck, Jesus Christ's negatives would be in the 50's at this point.

So it's not as if there's been an even playing field. The entrenched, corrupt elites who fancy themselves the gatekeepers of Power in this coiuntry have been sabotaging the process for months on end at this point.

It's shameful, unprincipled, un-American, and unprecedented in this modern information era, and there will be a price. And the price might be Hillary Clinton as President.

The Establishment has made its bed, and now the entire nation is going to reap the consequences.

Nothing could be more important for the American People than to shake the corrupt DC Cartel to its very core. Nothing.

Nothing will change until that happens, and everybody knows it.

And Donald Trump is the only person even suggesting such a thing. All others are going along to get along and being exposed as opportunists and elitists...

There is another way of looking at what you’ve described, if Trump had run a generally positive campaign I would feel much more sympathetic. But I will agree entirely with your bottom line.

Actually, for the GOPe putting Ted Cruz at the top of the ticket would make sense for them long term. Cruz will surely lose to Hillary so they get rid of the black sheep member of the family, plus if the Cruz beatdown was horrendous they can pin the blame on conservatism, a la Barry Goldwater in 1964.

Oh no, not by a long shot! Romney was by far the weakest ever! No one but no one, except the mormon faction and the elites wanted Romney. Romney was shoved down our throats! How short are our memories! The base wanted a brokered convention. We were told by the elites how bad this would be for us. As Romney destroyed with slander one candidate after another, the people moved to the next candidate but never to Romney, until only Ron Paul was left, and even even when only Paul was left he still took 40% of the vote in Virginia. How short memories are! This is why it was so important to unite behind one candidate early in this race, and so sad people have forgotten this, and now because of this we face the very real danger we will yet get stuck with Romney or Bush or Ryan again.

In fact is, Trump is a VERY VERY VERY strong candidate. The fact is that after all the abuse he has endured, he still has huge support despite the fact that there are still two well-funded candidates standing against him! With such constant media hits from every direction against him, he still has huge turn-outs at his rallies! With such enthusiasm for him, he still wins most primaries! Interestingly, over and over, fraud has been reported, which leads to the possibility there is much more fraud going on than any one suspects! (His wins may in fact be massive!)

I believe Trump is Our best chance to beat Hitlery, but the division caused by the the Cruzlims/GOPeeR Deep State has destroyed any ability to maintain ANY momentum, created an environment of total chaos, including among other misdeeds tolerating/supporting feces throwing violent agitprop monkeys at Trump rallies et al.

In fact, We might as well just skip the convention, as it will no doubt be just a colossal waste of time & resources...

In truth, heinous acts of the GOPeeRs/Cruzlims has done nothing but ensure that we get a demoRAT POTUS, and at a minimum the total loss of Our 2nd Amendment Rights...

Hope you clowns are proud of yourselves!

Agree. If Hillary beats Cruz, the GOPe stays in power and the senate can dump Cruz.

If it were just the hated Establishment and the media, would it really be working so well with Republican voters?

And really, people know Trump already, and they can see and hear him directly on TV directly and without filters.

The media and SuperPACs might make you think their way about Cruz or Rubio or Kasich because they're less-known figures.

With Trump, much of the response is voters seeing him and hearing him and making up their own minds.

The good news for Trump is that attack ads aren't making voters hate him. The bad news is many voters are making up their own mind not to like him.
