Why cant you just download by torrent? Every show on earth is available. I cannot understand why people pay to subscribe.
Technically, theft of copyrighted material is... well, theft. Why not just rob people for a living, it's easier than working, right?
Ease of use. I don’t keep a computer connected to my TV and don’t enjoy TV viewing on my computer.
Is it really that you can’t “Understand” or is it that your guilty conscience won’t let you acknowledge that you are STEALING every time you “torrent” in violation of someone’s copyright? If everyone STOLE the content (as your comment implies you do) there would be no revenue ergo . . . NO MORE SHOWS.
We pay because it’s the right thing to do. Not to mention ... its the law.
Because torrents are P2P, open to all inspection - and there are thousands of lawyers salivating at getting their grubby little hands on your IP address for illegal downloading. Ka-ching! (Are you pushing torrents for that very reason? Just wondering, because no sane person would do that.)
Now, usenet over an SSL connection on the other hand...
