Madonna has angered her neighbors by hogging almost four cars' worth of prime parking space outside her $40 million Upper East Side townhouse - arranging to install fake 'No parking' signs to scare other motorists away. The fake signage includes a 'No parking' sign posted on the singer's security gate, and a 'Tenant parking only' sign mounted on a pole in a flower bed on the sidewalk. Both signs threaten that 'unauthorized vehicles will be towed away.' The signs differ in design and language from official Department of Transportation notices.

Strange. At least a couple of those signs are posted in front of a driveway and garage which looks like it has a yellow curb. You would think that would be a valid no parking area.
The article says her people painted the curb.
Madonna had the curb painted yellow.
Today, we are all Rocco.
They need to throw the book at her. If she feels so bad, move to NJ.
According to the article, she painted the curb yellow herself.
Moving is always an option, Madonna.
Actually it appears this is to stop people from parking in front of her driveway.
OK but you would think that the curb in front of a driveway and garage would be a valid no parking area.
“She should be in jail!”
where did I read she pulled down some underaged girl’s top on stage recently?
maybe some industrious meter maid can ticket her and let her explain it to the judge.....
Since when is parking in front of driveways, or in this case a garage, allowed? I know if someone parks in front of my driveway I can have it towed.
Me being me... I wouldn’t put the signs up. I’d just make friends with the most expensive towing company in the city and have every car that blocked the garage towed.
$40 million townhouse? I know the photos show very little, but I don’t see anything worth that much, but then again I don’t want to live in the middle of a major city.
