They are usually little kiosks no?
They are small, but one step up from the tiny kiosks you see all around Eastern Washington. Here is a pic of one from the Dutch Bros web site

I didn’t realize how many there were. THeir website says they have 200 of them, all over the West Coast: Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho.

I have read two other stories recently which give me hope. A Jewish woman who was doing her grocery shopping when she got word that her father had died. She said as she began to wail and cry other shoppers went out of their way to comfort her. Some prayed, another shopper called a friend of the woman to come drive her because they didn’t want her to be alone on the road, some waited with her until the friend arrived. She said she will be forever touched by the kind way those strangers reached out to her.

The other case was a mix up in a text message about the birth of a baby. The new parents sent out a text to family and friends that included a number no longer held by the intended recipient. The current phone number holder texted back congratulations but we think you ought to know you have the wrong number. New parents apologized. Their excitement rubbed off on the strangers as they continued to text back and forth for a bit. The couple thought the strangers were joking when they asked which hospital and room number, we want to bring a present. The hospital was an hour away from the strangers’ location. However the parents were surprised when the strangers showed up with gifts of diapers, pacifiers, and bottles for the new baby. The new parents were white, the strangers labeled in pictures taken as the “new godfathers” were two young black men. Lots of smiling in those pictures and a sweet gesture on the part of the young men.

These stories are the America I know and love, I hope we can save her.
