An airliner flying from Dubai with at least 61 people on board crashed early Saturday in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, according to the Russian Emergency Ministry.
The Boeing 737-800 crashed on a repeated landing attempt at the city’s airport, according to the ministry. There were 55 passengers and six crew aboard.

I just heard this myself, my condolences.
All souls lost on board. Plane drilled into the ground at a near 45 degree angle. Completely destroyed on impact. No chance of surviving such a crash. Grim video.
Chechen, Syrian or Ukraine enemies, is my guess.
Russia has been very active in the last few years. Not all are happy about it.
Just wondering why the original thread on this was removed from Breaking News. Seems like a terrible disaster.
60 mph winds and visibility was poor..recipe for disaster.
According to the article it was bad weather.
