I see that Cruz, Rubio, and now Kasich have decided to wrap themselves in the flag.

The white flag of surrender to the bullying Left.

I spit on all three of these surrender monkeys.

Fox News has become unwatchable. It sensationalizes everything and is obsessed with ratings. Its more entertainment oriented than news focused.

Another one making excuses for the violent anti-American Left. It’s the same mentality that blames America for the atrocities committed by the Islamofascists(why do they hate us?). Insanity is everywhere you look these days.

And i’m not going to put up with it. Take your moral relativism and stick it where the sun don’t shine.

Just like those raped women in Sweden obviously caused the rapes? It has been eye opening just how interwoven the uniparty is. The candidates and media all use the talking points we so hated from the left. It will be interesting to see how many so called conservatives are blind followers of the uniparty who hate America.

Are these guys so stupid they can’t see what they’re doing? I can’t believe Kasich and Cruz are this dumb. That only leaves one option...they are FULLY in cahoots with the GOPe, the mainstream media and the democrat party.

Kasich putting his finger in the wind. Miserable failure of leadership.

I guess we were right about you, John, all along.

Shut up and go back to Columbus and do some more good instead of acting like a pumped up member of the elitist Republicrat Party.

You’ll have no place in the NEW Republican Tea Party!

Trump has created a toxic environment.

Most candidates create a "toxic environment"! It all depends on your point of view. For example, if you're a pacifist, the candidate who talks about building a powerful military is creating a toxic environment.

He is absolutely correct. Trump has created a toxic environment. The protesters caused the problem last night, but Trump’s campaign has brought out worst in americans.

Absolutely wrong. Trump's campaign has brought out the worst in people who support other candidates. Trumps campaign has brought out the worst in the far left. Trump's campaign has brought out the worst in the GOPe. And now Trump's campaign has brought out the worst in Ted Cruz.

When Cruz has a riot at his event will he blame himself for being ‘divisive’?

You first have to have a crowd large enough to make a riot.

Trump has created a toxic environment.

****************
Toxic and mean spirited political rhetoric is commonplace in American politics. Its nothing new and didn’t start with Trump. In fact, Obama has engaged in more than his share of toxic and divisive rhetoric. And Hillary and Bernie sling their own venomous invectives every day. So to focus entirely on Trump is disingenuous.

But what is really toxic and lethal in a democracy is street mobs being allowed to stifle free speech and silence those they don’t want to hear from. Behavior like this is antithetical to democracy and removes the cornerstone of self government.

It surprises me that Kasich would also pile on Trump... I figured he had more common sense than to crap on the 1st Amendment rights of all of us low information voters.

Hopefully the Ohio voters will see this and end his campaign on Tuesday. As far as the remaining elites- they will eventually get what is coming to them. This election cycle has exposed them for what they truly are.

He is absolutely correct. Trump has created a toxic environment. The protesters caused the problem last night, but Trump’s campaign has brought out worst in americans. We see it on this site where a group of people who theoretically are on the same side of issues are extremely vulgar and impolite to each other. I get private messages from people who also believe this but are not wiling to state it publicly on this forum. Trump’s message gives the nation no hope of unity and common effort. This is easily the most depressing campaign season I have ever lived through and that includes two Obama wins.

I don’t disagree with you. Have said many times that his fans are out of control....

With that said ......Cruz and others should have hit the protesters hard.
The people at the rally did nothing wrong except support an fool that has some good stances on a few issues. These thugs went out of their way to disrupt a peaceful gathering. No one to blame but them.

I agree that this will help trump. He and his fans are not to blame.

Concur. This is the most vile, ignorant fraud ever to seek the presidency and he may kill a lot of down ballot conservatives.

trump WANTS hillary elected, his goal from the beginning. He’ll take a dive in the fall. Plus he’ll get toasted by Hillary in the debates, becuz he cannot string 3 coherent sentences together, understands zero conservative thought, and couldn’t pass an 8th grade civics test.

This will not end well, and Obama, Clinton and the Msm are laughing.

“He is absolutely correct. Trump has created a toxic environment. The protesters caused the problem last night, but Trump’s campaign has brought out worst in americans.”

Even if you were correct about Trump “creating a toxic environment” what you totally miss is the concept of individual responsibility. Each protester who attended the Chicago rally (or any other Trump rally) with the intent to disrupt the rally or incite violence was making a conscious decision to take action. No matter what Trump says or does, the reaction to Trump’s actions or speech is the responsibility of the person reacting, not Trump.

One of the biggest issues in this country is we fail to hold individuals accountable for their behavior due to political correctness or an emotional response to a groups’s situation. As a result the woman who has four children out of wedlock by different men is blameless. The man who conceived one of those children and doesn’t contribute to their support is blameless. The ghetto mother who fails to instill values in her children, doesn’t encourage them to get an education, and allows them to run around the neighborhood with pimps and drug dealers during the middle of the night is blameless. The occupants of public housing who destroy their homes and litter the yard are blameless.

You may blame Trump for the bad behavior of others but I don’t blame him any more than I blame the community organizer who encourages the people of Ferguson to loot and burn. It is the person who lights the match, swings his fist, or pulls the trigger on the gun who is to blame for the action and the consequences. Likewise it is the child who refuses to study, and the parents who fail to make her study, who are to blame for the failure of urban youth to acquire the education needed to become productive citizens in this society. It isn’t the fault of slaveowners who lived over a century ago, it isn’t the fault of taxpayers, white privilege, or “society”.

With respect to Chicago, Trump is guilty of nothing more than trying to exercise his free speech rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Those who went to the event with the intention of disrupting it, who behaved violently, and who are today congratulating themselves for shutting it down are the only ones to be blamed for what you call “the problem last night”. To believe otherwise is only to excuse the antisocial behavior that is ripping the nation apart.
