Trump is holding all the cards on this one.

He can start by making fun of the cabana boys for releasing summaries together on the same day! So gay.

Who are Cruz and Rubio? What bearing do they have on the upcoming election? Enquiring minds want to know.

Why didn’t they release the details of their tax returns, just a summary. What are they hiding?

I used to be a Cruz/Trump supporter. Cruz's failure to go after Hillary, his unraveling, and his recent shocking behavior leaves us now only Trump. It makes one wonder why Cruz, who seemed smart and intelligent, is on a self-destructive path. Not somebody one wants in the White House.

Cruz has lost me for good too. He's just proven that he's not ready for PrimeTime

The country is in 19 trillion debt. That’s a crime against the US taxpayers done by many past and present criminal politicians in DC. The IRS is corrupt and so are the tax laws and a complex tax code.
Are there flaws in Trump’s tax returns? Who gives a damn. The whole tax thing is a big, fluxin’ mess foisted on us by corrupters in DC. Pox on them all who scrooge us every which way to Super Tuesday.

Seems stupid to me to release your tax returns when you are likely to be dropping out. Why would they do this at this point? Will Hillary release hers? I doubt it.

Actually, they didn’t release their tax returns. They released “summaries”.

Is releasing a tax return a part of Presidential qualifications? Kind of like 35 years old and a natural born citizen?

Epic fail....

How many years have the US citizens been crying out to fix the damn tax code and simplify it? Decades— yet nothing gets done. Why? Because the politicians themselves fear the IRS and personal audits if they raise a stink-yet congress has control over all that and they have done nothing. Utter worthless POS’s in DC. I blame Repugs mostly because they shunned the promises to fix it. What’s worse cheating or miscalculating tax returns or lying to your constituents while letting the Fed Govt rob them and the nation blind?

The IRS has said there is nothing stopping Trump from releasing his taxes. The only thing stopping Trump is Trump.

First of all doesn't it concern you that the IRS is inserting itself into a political debate without apparently any prompting?

Second if Trump's returns are being audited then the returns he has aren't the final returns. The returns aren't complete until the audit is done.

Third if Cruz and Obama's IRS are teamed up against Trump then Trump is DEFINITELY the one we want in office.

I’m supposed to care what toilet paper Trump uses or doesn’t use.

It’s all about the wall.

Go Trump Go!

Trump, at first, said he couldn't release his taxes because the IRS was auditing him. He put the blame on the IRS. Trump, himself, prompted the IRS to chime in. They've said they are not stopping him from releasing his returns.

He's hiding something and his supporters here are in full Cover Trump's Ass (CTA) mode.

Really? You think it's perfectly okay for the IRS to insert itself into a Republican primary race? And since Trump's returns are being audited then he doesn't really have final returns until the audit is done so what exactly is he supposed to release?

It would make him appear to cave to Ted Cruz and Robot Rubio.

If you are so worried about appearances, what appearance is conveyed by fabricating reasons not to release tax returns?

I don't care if it's the IRS or not...if someone lies about me to excuse their actions, I'm going to correct the record.

That's not "inserting" anything, it's calling out a liar.

I guess the Free Republic endorsement is in.

I dislike the IRS as much as the next guy. But Trump's blowing smoke up our collective butts on this.

Turn a blind eye to it if you wish.

They only released the 1040...two pages....and it was 2010-2014.

Ted has already filed an extension for his 2015 taxes. I think that can go as late as October.

By that time, he'll be out of the race and dealing with his Senate buddies.....that is,if he feels like showing up.

Whatever. I didn’t know that it’s a conservative principle to demand a candidate publishes his tax returns. Sounds kinda Reidish to me.
