Now he can take all of the HGH he wants, and stick his testes wherever he wants.

The headline is ambiguous. Which quarterback Manning?

Of course everyone will assume it is the older brother.

I believe it’s time anyway. Peyton Manning certainly doesn’t need the money, especially with all a large number of Papa Johns pizza franchises he owns in the Denver, CO area and an Anheuser-Busch beer distributorship in Louisiana he is also part of.

It’s the right call, go out on top like John Elway did. Don’t try a comeback in a year and half, that never works.

You’re right, there’s plenty of college greats who go to the big leagues and fizzle out or have a just kinda mediocre career. Then there’s Ryan Leaf, who is now in prison.

I agree, best to go out on top instead of on a stretcher!

So, will the friggin Nationwide commercials stop then?

Brett Favre is still on TV, hawking razors.

If Brock Osweiler is pissed they benched him and doesn’t re-sign, the champs could be left high and dry at QB.

I hope so. I’m sick of that guy too.

WTF’s up with “FAV-RE”? I saw that ad and said: “That’s not him!” He hit the male version of the wall.

DEN might be up a creek without a QB. Oh well...

Do you think “Da Coach” would have beat Mandingo in 2004?

Favre, bastardized Cajun French I guess.

As to Ditka, possibly. Bush got 44.5% in IL, he wouldn’t have had to run too far ahead. I think Ditka, Incumbent Senator Fitzgerald (chased out the race by corrupt RINOs), or original nominee Jack Ryan (forced out due to sex “scandal” involving his own ex-wife, Jeri Ryan) could have won. Former Governor Jim Edgar too if he could have been persuaded to run.

That race was a clusterF, Alan Keyes...

He was either in pain already, which is probably the case, or just tired of it.

He has two young kids, 5 year old twins. His net worth is $165M.

Why risk being crippled for life? Get out now, spend time with the wife and kids, enjoy your life.

His wife is cute, too. Better to enjoy the years with her now.

Oui...que le français!

Wow, so that’s at least 4 good candidates that either didn’t run or were forced out.

Leaving the way for Alan Keyes and the Obamanation to occur.
