Well I’m not going to research links for you, but I’ve read enough articles over the past couple of years of satellite observations, and scientific expeditions caught in solid ice contradicting the alarmism from the AGW “the Polar Bears are drowning” crowd.

I for one believe it’s a bunch of Bravo Sierra.

The reality is that polar bears do not need year round ice. If they did, you would not find them on the Baffin Islands, north shore of Alaska and throughout much of northern Canada where they thrive.

In fact, Churchill, Manitoba, the self-proclaimed polar bear capital of the world, proves this point as polar bears converge on the ice forming in the bay every fall from inland areas where they summer. The salt water of the sea takes longer to freeze and fish and game from the ocean becomes more plentiful that what they can get from the surrounding forests and tundra.

They are not the stupid creatures which the AGW crowd likes to paint them as being. Like any other creatures on God's green earth, they go to where their food supply is most plentiful. And when it becomes scare in the winter, they do exactly what most other bears other do-- an inactive torpid metabolic state which is often confused with hibernation.
