As has been pointed out many times here, Windows 10 has numerous "report home" apps that send personal date back to Microsoft, supposedly for insuring quality of the operating system. However, IMO the volume of info sent compared to that in earlier versions belies that.

Be sides KB 3035583, here are the other "updates" on my list:
KB 2952664
KB 3022345
KB 3068708
KB 3075249
KB 3080149
KB 3083710

I have removed the updates I’ve seen on your list and elsewhere on FR. They almost immediately show up on the next listing of updates. I choose “hide this update” when I see them and they disappear from the download list.

From the link in my #7:

Windows 10's a different story. As I've explained repeatedly, Win10 is starting to collect data for the purpose of targeting ads -- not unlike Windows Live Messenger, years ago, and Google and Facebook and many others, for as long as they've been around. You should understand the privacy implications before you decide to upgrade (or not) to Windows 10. The fact that Windows 10 continues to leak information even after all the CEIP/Cortana/Bing settings have been shut off does not instill confidence.

I already drank the cool aid. Had to buy a new computer recently and it came with Win10 installed. I’m not willing to move to Unix type machine and I don’t like Apple. I’ve been on a windows based machine since 1983. I am connected to the world electronically whether it is my computer or my cable tv service or mobile phone. Someone out there is going to spy on me if only to push some product my way. I don’t have to like it but I’ve grown use to it.

Thanks CD.

I have the same list except I have KB3021917 on mine also.

Any input on that number?

I don't remember how it made 'the list'.
