Illegal Alien Killer Protected by Nebraska 'Sanctuary City' Vanishes After Paying Bond
Breitbart ^ | Febraury 18, 2016 | Katie McHugh

Posted on 02/22/2016 4:45:53 PM PST by kevcol

The Honduran Mejia, 19, killed 21-year-old Sarah Root while allegedly street racing on January 31, rear-ending her so hard she succumbed to her fatal injuries that same night. Police found Mejia's blood-alcohol level was four times the legal limit, and the alien had "a suspended driver's license."

Root had graduated from Bellevue University with a 4.0 GPA just the day before.

Although Mejia faced up to 20 years in prison for killing Root, Judge Jeffrey Marcuzzo set Mejia's bond at $50,000. Mejia's brother paid the necessary $5,000-ten percent–and the illegal promptly disappeared, rubbing salt in the mourning Root family's wounds.

Police did not contact Root's family to warn them they freed their daughter's killer.

A young life was SNUFFED OUT, and his bro paid $5,000.

I want to see a photo of that Judge’s face.

Good God.

That lousy judge should be put in prison in place of the killer. This carnage of US citizens by criminals who have no business being here has to stop.

So, when this scumbag kills someone else, then this judge should be held criminally liable for releasing this POS. The City Council members and the Mayor should get the same treatment. They should be held liable too.

According to a story out in the National Law Journal today, Leigh Jones reports that after Marcuzzo became angered by lawyers' decision to change the date of a hearing without telling him, Marcuzzo left the following message on the prosecutors' voice mail:

I did not appreciate that one f- bit. And if I find out you ever did that again to me or any other members of the county court bench, I'll shove the rest of it up your a- so f- far it will make your throat hurt.

The Supreme Court of Nebraska on Friday ruled that Marcuzzo violated judicial disciplinary rules and sentenced him to a 120-day suspension without pay.

Who gets the $50,000? It’s a good deal for the judge and the sanctuary city for this guy to bolt. They are partying hard with the 50 grand.

My understanding is bond in Omaha is underwritten by the state, so it’s unlikely the state will write a check to itself. Here’s a link to a reward for his arrest. Please share or Tweet.
