Season 10, Episode 6
February 22, 2016
The season concludes with people all across the country falling gravely ill. A widespread panic develops and Scully looks within to find a cure. Meanwhile, Mulder confronts the man he believes to be behind it all, but another figure from Mulder and Scully's past may prove to be the key to their salvation.
I watched the last episode of the first X Files series last night. Reminded me of the last episode of Seinfeld, with all the cameos of actors from all the episodes.
We’ve been watching the new X Files.
Like all remakes..poor. Not sure whether we are supposed to laugh or not at some of the dialog.
Same with American Horror Story. Last season was good. Stopped watching this year after about ep 3.
I know what you mean. Although, I think I am laughing at the right parts.
I have been reaching the series from the start. I am on season six, and I have to admit it is losing some gas.
That said, a six episode season every couple of years is fine.
What the writers have missed is that Muler and Scully would have retired about ten years ago. There are not a lot of 55+ year old FBI agents working in the field.
I have been re-watching, not reviewing.
The new X-Files do not have the same ‘flavor’ as the originals. It ain’t X-Files for me!
They lost me when the Indian guy tried to give Mulder a blow job.
I would agree, although I finally lost interest in the original series toward the end. These new ones are just - weird. It’s like they have the potential to do something really great but whoever is in charge just isn’t very good at it.
Kinda like the execrebale “Under the Dome”. Would have been better of not even trying.
It seems they are almost mocking the original series with this re-make...really strange...
