Sandra has been covering the great acoustic guitar players of the day since she was 14. She has now begun writing some of her own stuff. There is a lot of Tommy Emmanuel influence in this song. Tommy used Chet Atkins as his inspiration and you can tell that Sandra Bae has used Tommy Emmanuel for hers.

As a musician it is somewhat frustrating to know that I have been playing for over 40 years and this 21 year old girl can play circles around me. But then again she can play circles around just about everyone.

I couldn’t agree more. Like you I’ve been playing for longer than I can believe and she leaves me standing. Thanks for posting this.

You and I seem to have the same taste in acoustic guitar instrumentals. Maybe you can try this... https://youtu.be/bhFJXgBMlZM

Very nice. I love listening and watching these kids with all the alternate tunings and harmonics, but I couldn’t do that stuff if my life depended on it. I’m more of a traditional EADGBE and DADGBE 9 finger player. If you want a real treat on the alternate tuning front, try Don Ross “Klimbim”. I think I spent a month trying to learn that.

It’s not that tough to play. Just have to spend the time. He even gives a lesson on how to play it.

Try Bill Mize. I can mimic his works pretty well, and it’s restful.
