You betcha. Thanks for the nightly caucus thread.

Any thoughts on how long it’ll continue?

Everyone knows I prefer Trump, but I don’t want to give the Cruz folks a rough time.

I’d actually like to see them make it more competitive.

I am still amazed at how many folks support Cruz on the forum, then concede the vote in the Caucus to Trump.

What does that prove?

If I supported Cruz, you couldn’t keep me off the Caucus thread once a day.

All the Cruz support on the threads, and then allow it go look like this forum is captured Trump territory?

Strange...

I want to keep it going through Super Tuesday.

If folks still want to participate, I’ll keep it going.

If it dies down below 175 or so, I’ll probably discontinue it.

I want it to be here and fun for folks, but if it isn’t appealing, then I’ll stop.

I am working up some studies that should be interesting, looking at the overall vote.

Should have that in a few days...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it. I agree with your cut-off benchmarks. They make sense.

I am still amazed at how many folks support Cruz on the forum, then concede the vote in the Caucus to Trump.

What does that prove?

That the number of Cruz supporters on FR appears larger and more numerous than it actually is. As you said, if you were a Cruz supporter, there's no way you'd miss voting in the caucus every day. Neither would I.

Many Cruz supporters at FR are almost fatalistically loyal to their candidate. Check the names on the caucus thread, and nearly every hard core Cruz supporter here is on there.

I think what we're seeing is an honest representation of how much support Cruz really has here. Checking the stats from the inception of the caucus, there's no question that FR is Trump country, with a smallish northern territory we fondly refer to as, 'Cruznadia'.

Out of 66 votes cast, Cruz has only 17. So now we will be undoubtedly treated to the Cruzers saying that “it doesn’t matter and we’re not voting any more.” Well, they are right about one thing, “it really doesn’t matter any more.”

Trump is making it harder for me to Vote Trump. I am cringing when I hear him call people liar. I am disapointed. While he vanquishes his Republican opponents, he is deflating my enthusiasm and he is losing my respect. I feel I haven’t the champion I envisioned in the race against the dark side.

I am working up some studies that should be interesting, looking at the overall vote.

I would like to see some analytics on how many have changed their votes from candidate A to candidate B in general and as it pertains to other candidates who have dropped out. Another interesting number would be the amount/frequency of votes, for instance 65% of the caucus voters voted in 95% of the caucuses.

I'm sure you need some more work to do.
