Back in the early 70’s while going to college in KCMO, we would hop over to Kansas and get Coors, it was indeed Rocky Mountain Koolade! Boy was it good then after it when the nation wide it was well not so good. Too bad, but it was good then.

When I was a kid racing motocross we would go up into Oregon where Coors was unavailable and guys would trade 2 or three sixpacks of beer for a sixer of my dad’s Coors.
I remember bringing a case from Arizona to Ohio back in the early 70s.
And you could only buy it in Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon when the delivery truck arrived, it was sold out for the week by that evening.
