Though definitions vary, psychological experts typically agree there are no child psychopaths. Mental health categorization doesn't, generally speaking, even allow for that possibility.
"Especially when we're talking about younger people, we don't use the term psychopathy," says psychiatrist Dr. Jeffrey Borenstein, CEO of Brain & Behavior Research Foundation in New York City. Borenstein served on the editorial advisory board of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders guide for consumers, based on the manual's latest, fifth edition, called "Understanding Mental Disorders: Your Guide to DSM-5."
Instead, Borenstein says, mental health experts speak about an issue called conduct disorder, in which individuals consistently, repeatedly disregard the rights of peers, significant social norms for their age or rules. "A child who has a diagnosis of conduct disorder may be showing ... aggression towards other people -- for instance, being a bully, threatening or intimidating others, engaging in physical fights," he says. "It could be using a weapon to cause [or] that could cause harm to another person, being cruel to other people or to animals, stealing, destruction of property and often lying -- those would be some of the types of things that would be a warning sign for a parent."
Left unchecked, children with conduct disorder may get in major trouble at school, commit criminal offenses and set a course for their life that alienates them from much of society and could -- particularly in cases where they exhibit troubling violent tendencies -- endanger others. Those children and adolescents who also exhibit callousness, such as appearing entirely insensitive or unsympathetic to other people, may, some experts say, be at risk for developing psychopathy as adults.
Definitions of psychopathy vary. Some clinicians, Borenstein included, prefer not to use the word at all

These “experts” read the story of Donald Trmp as a child, right!
Psychopathy is the key to success.
Most corporations and definitely all of government is populated by them as they have the characteristics that lead to success in those organizations.
Well....let’s see.....
God and discipline have been banned from public schools.
Both parents work because staying home to take care of the kids is just too hard.
For those who still regularly attend Church, it is a box to check on Sunday, with little impact on the rest of the week.
Staying married is a coin toss.
This kids spend an amazing amount of time disconnected from reality and plugged into whatever electronic addiction is available.
Did I say “the kids”?
I watch families out for dinner, each on their own device, scanning or texting, paying no attention to each other.
Sociopath?
Psychopath?
How could that happen?
bttt
Ping.
Mine were all dain bramaged. They’re fine now.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

The elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about is that the new breeds of Skunk Marijuana is making 10% of heavy users psychotic. There are studies that now show that 25% of new cases are heavy users of the stuff and I have seen it personally.
This is why so many people are just bat dip crazy these days. It would be interesting to see how many of these serial killers, mass murderers, baby killers, and such started off on “harmless” marijuana.
In forensic science, it is a different matter. There is a well-established measure of psychopathy, The Psychopathy Checklist, and its originator Robert Hare speaks freely about those who show early signs of it as children.
Over years of foster children, we had one from age 5 to 7, that was a psychopath. He had Reactive Detachment Disorder. He was pleasant enough and could be charming, and we didn’t have any major problems with control issues, but he had absolutely no empathy. He ended up in an institution, then in a closely supervised group home. We visited with him again at age 11 and he was very well controlled, almost too controlled (Stepford level odd), but under that veneer, you could still tell that he had absolutely no sense of empathy, kind of what Ted Bundy may have been like at age 11.
What..no concept of child psychopath?....Anybody ever see the movie “The Bad Seed” made in 1956?... the idea of psychopath children is nothing new
I’ve seen that. Scary.
It is...it one dam creepy movie....that evil little girl playing the piano while the guy burned alive..... considering was made in 1956 too
Liberals are turning many young adults into crazies by saying, “You don’t have to have self control, because it is always the external environment to blame.”
The evil of this is that if it is always society’s fault, it gives the government a reason to control everything everyone does - because the individuals cannot control themselves.
In the short term, it liberates you from obligation along with restraint. Long term, it enslaves everyone.
Most kids are all psychopaths - only as they become older and develop a sense of social responsibility and morality do they separate themselves from those who never grow up and remain mostly ego - like the Clintons, say.....
Yes.

Many years ago a co-worker had to go retrieve her child from pre-school because he had bitten another child.
The young Mom was upset but most of us had older kids.
We teased her about the fact the Ted Bundy used to bite and other nonsense things like that.
He’s about 35 years old now and doing quite well.
