I really don't know if that can be done, at least to people who live in more urban settings.
Sure, if you live on a ranch at the edge of an expanding Federal landholding, you'll understand (you're in the crosshairs).
If you live on a small patch of grass in a HOA, this probably won't make any sense to you. Meat comes from the store. Land is something you pay taxes on and the grass is what Mexicans mow in the summer or sell your teenagers, not to feed your means of making a living.
America isn't a nation of farmers/ranchers any more, so it just isn't relevant unless you get Keloed.

That said, the kids left up there are just wrong and should have vacated with the others. It's my understanding that one of them was asked to leave at one point by the Bundys. (Weed, alcohol and Mormons don't usually mix too well.) They want to commit suicide and no one can talk them out of it. If the Feds are patient, they will starve them out and wait until they get cold, run out of weed, and start getting on each other's nerves. But the Feds have already proven that they are not patient.

I hadn’t made the connection, but see more similarities as I ponder.
Soviets wanted their style of farming to replace industrious individual farmers.
Soviets imprisoned a lot, and killed the most industrious.
They still tried farming, but in this case the Feds/Govt/whoever pulls the strings wants to totally eliminate private for other purposes (uranium, solar, unprotected border).

1. The federal government has NO LEGAL RIGHT to land that was a territory and then became a state.. UNLESS there is a specific contract withthe state cedeing the alnd tothe FEDS
2. The Constitution specifically details WHAT LAND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAN HAVE... for military basses and other specific needs... otherwise the land belngs to the State
3. In conflicts between a federal agency and citizens of the state THE LCOAL SHERIFF IS THE ONLY CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY...
4. The Federal government is engaged in an agenda to take more public lands and restrict their use
5. BLM let a fire get out of control and burned 110,000 ACRES INCLUDING PRIOVATE LAND AND BUILDINGS AND KILLED CATTLE....AND MADE NO RESTITUTION
So that is why BLM backed down in the previous encounter with BUNDY and the local sheriff in the HAMMOND protesters case SHOULD AHVE STEPPED IN..... BUT DIDN’T

I am a journalist by training.
I was around in religious broadcasting when there was resistance to state education regulations in Nebraska.
I participated in special reporting by my religious broadcasting organization to chronicle the resistance of Faith Baptist Church in Louisville, NE.
Acts of civil disobedience were involved leading to the jailing of the pastor, jailing of fathers of school students, the padlocking of the church etc.
At one point in the conflict a group of supporting pastors told a judge they would remove the church padlock even though sheriffs deputies stationed inside were ordered to shoot anyone who did.
The judge ordered the padlock removed.
These steadfast acts of resistance drew support in the conservative religious community and forced the state to back down and President Ronald Reagan to urge a back down in a public speech before religious broadcasters in 1984.
It is my memory of those days in my youth, along with my later involvement in mainstream media following the Operation Rescue protests and the Republican Party operatives at National Right To Life opposing them plus my historical reading on the Democrat Party’s opposition from the JFK Administration to Dr. Martin Luther King’s protests that drive my daily vanity posts on this situation.

Well, you have read two paragraphs that I’ve written, and you know me? That is amazing. You should go to the track with that kind of psychic ability.
I have to ask..if you are “involved” how come you have time to write on here? They have Internet access in the occupied lands.
But, I was trying to give you advice, not criticism. Your “movement” is perceived to be a bunch of wannabe Tim McGiegh types. Here is my answer to you: if you want to be John Brown, you need a a Harper’s Ferry. I wish you well in your effort to take on the government. But, make sure your final arrangements are taken care of before you take them on.
You need someone who can explain in a way that is not so condescending. Just because your chosen life might be different from mine, one is no more real than the other. When you write in such a holier than thou manner, you will garner no support from the rest of the country.
Why is it you guys cannot not accept constructive criticism? Do you want to win, or do you want to die?
You all don’t get it. Folks standing around with guns talking revolution will get killed.
No one off the ranch understands what is going on. The reason is that your spokesmen come across as thugs. In general, the masses shrug you off just like the thugs that burned down Baltimore.
My criticism of your movement is not the “intent” of it, but the absolute failure to communicate a message that makes sense.
And arguing about a guy shot dead at a road block is not helping your cause.
