A federal grand jury came down yesterday with indictments of 16 people in connection with the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge (Harney County Resource Center).
Leaders like Ammon Bundy and Ryan Payne were indicted, along with Shawna Cox and broadcaster Pete Santilli among others.
Details of the indictments were lacking causing defense lawyers to demand their release. The prosecutor said that will happen today.
A video was posted online last night from associates of Pete Santilli, citing a source at the hospital in Burns.
The report is that the FBI medical team was there doing an inventory of their supplies.
That's what they did before the deadly arrest operation was carried out last week that also slightly injured Ryan Bundy, who ended up being treated at the hospital.
This report would suggest a new FBI operation at the refuge itself.
Also, Oregon Public Broadcasting reports its connection with the people at the refuge was cut yesterday when they tried to call at 1:30. At 2:15 OPB received a call from an anonymous caller on a blocked number. The caller said all lines of communication had been cut at 12:50 pm yesterday.
The funeral for Robert LaVoy Finicum is scheduled at a church in Kanab, Utah tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 pm. The funeral is open to the public but cameras and video are not allowed.
The obituary starts this way: "Robert LaVoy Finicum was born on Janaury 27, 1961 in Kanab, UT and was murdered the day before his 55th birthday on January 26, 2016..."
We don't know what's coming next, perhaps more FBI activity of a violent nature. It begs us all to consider how to respond.
What happened to LaVoy Finicum hurts and angers a lot of people and if people feel compelled to respond to the FBI led violence in Oregon, may they find the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King and Gandhi in offering their resistance.

The FBI was where - they have supplies at the hospital? I think this could be reworded for clarity UNLESS it really means what it says.
As they say, “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes”. Though I feel sorry for that LeVoy fellow. The guy was such a sap he actually believed the Bundy’s grift was for real, and he paid with his life for his naivete.

It’ pretty clear what’s coming next. What’s coming next is that more people are likely going to die for standing up for what they believe and trying to preserve their way of life. Unlike the other “protesters” we’ve seen looting, pillaging and destroying property this summer; these “protesters” have destroyed nothing. They’re simply not on the right side of politics and the now “pro-anything but Americans” government.
There are obviously plans already made for this land by the powers that be. Vast swaths of land along our southern border that used to be made productive and was stewarded by hard working Americans has now become a dangerous and unusable wasteland controlled by foreign interests. That is, if you can call illegal invaders and drug traffickers “interests”. Our government claims that they can do nothing about the flood of undesirables that are pouring into this nation by the thousands, killing, raping, stealing, and distributing death in the form of drugs. But they can call a few men who take over an empty building criminals, track them down and shoot them with pride.
They can do it because, for all the posturing of “patriotic” Americans, these people have stood alone. Even a good portion of their neighbors stood back and allowed this travesty to happen.
Here’s a news flash for all Americans. This is coming to a town and a neighborhood near you. And your neighbors and even those you call friends are going to stand and watch as long as their little world isn’t yet threatened.
That’s how we got a President that doesn’t love America. That’s how we got a government that no longer serves its people. That’s how we got to the point where you can do just about anything without consequence as long as you vote the right way. Otherwise, you’re a threat to be disposed of.
So don’t just do something America, sit there and watch. You’re next. And we’re getting exactly what we have fought to protect; which is nothing.

The FBI medical team did business last week at the hospital when they treated Ryan Bundy for his injuries.
A day or so before that they took an inventory of their medical supplies.
Now they are doing it again.
Looks like they’re getting ready for more injuries.
I am reminded of Stalin’s activities against the ‘kulaks’ (private farmers) in rural parts of the Soviet Union.
The attack on the rural West has been going on for over 50 years and like the Democrats ducked the race issue until MLK called them out, the Republicans are ducking this issue offering emotional words and speeches without action.
Ghandi and King were riding a trend that was moving in their direction...
But they had to get into faces non violently to help push things along.
If those 6 and 7 year old children hadn’t marched into Bull Connor’s paddy wagons in May of 1963, I think history would have been different.
There was a howl of sorts about the tactic, but it worked.
Imagine if someone tried that today, the media would be besides itself in mock outrage.
Duh,,, The question is way the fbi's medial team and not the hospitals staff of doctors and nurses.
These guys are going to end up dead, in jail, or dead in jail.
And the rest of the country doesn’t care. Many of us included.
These guys think they are the John Brown of the next civil war. Were they 1/2 as articulate as John Brown that might have been true. But they haven’t been able to explain their actions in a way that attracts followers. Instead, their reckless actions are going to lead to a bloody end that will be but a small footnote in history.
We’ve tangled in the past. And I don’t want to encourage you...but that is funny.
I am sure it’s a tactical medical team that can treat people onsite, triage them, and get wounded/injured to the hospital. They don’t bring their own hospital staff.
AND...it’s the first of the month. I am sure it’s SOP to do a monthly inventory when they are deployed.
This is not the X-Files, people.
Whether or not Lavoy's death is the spark the ignites the dried, dead tinder of trampled American rights and lost freedoms and becomes a raging, unstoppable inferno, destoying the wicked and evil as well as the good and just........time will tell.

You need to do some work on your rhetoric. It is a little over the top. You sound like a bad post apocalypse novel.
The “occupation” of the wildlife refuge is too remote. The case is too convoluted. Your message is full of drama, but not inspirational.
You should be able to explain why this is important without getting all red faced and using words designed to incite.
The rhetoric over this makes the entire patriot movement should like a bunch of irrational fanatics. This occupation is not bringing to light any of the issues, except to a group of people already convinced.
I used to get paid well for my communications and media relations skills. I will give you this advice for free:
You need to find your “Sam Adams.” You need to find someone who has the fire in their belly, someone who has been wronged, and someone who can look into a camera and articulate, persuade, and convince a large percentage of the populace.
