Not if you strain it through a slice of bread first. (Well, at least that’s what I heard.)
Nope. It wil still kill you and you’ve wasted a slice of bread.

That was the story (obviously wrong) some Navy submariners were told during WWII. Quite a few died from draining the Methyl Alcohol from the torpedoes and straining it through bread.
Actually that’s a holdover from prohibition, straining shoe polish or other products containing ethanol solvent, through loaf-bread. Don’t count on that technique to work in removing any methanol blended in.
