Are these touched-up... or rather, touched-down?
I hate HC as much as the next person but either the makeup they put on her for TV appearances is miraculous or at least some of these photos are photoshopped.

Agreed. And her wrinkles have nothing to do with anything.
I haven’t seen any recent photos that are close-ups. Then too, air brushing, or using a soft focus lens can hide a multitude of sins.
I remember Hollywood trying to pass off an aging Doris Day as an ingenue long after she hit her mid forties. Every close-up was soft focus.
Yes, they are using tricks, and I’ll bet she had had extensive surgery too.

I haven’t seen the others- but as a person who photographs, and does photoshop post production, I can say the photo in the header is definitely touched up- over sharpened to brign out the wrinkles and skin texture more- it looks liek the red was boosted too to emphasize the bloodshot eyes and skin-
I was wondering the same thing. Of course, a lot can be done with make-up. The late make-up artist Aucoin had a book where he converted with just cosmetics the faces of people to resemble celebrities.
