I think it's wonderful that he took Cruz's "fan club" [I'm sure Dad is actually the "fan club's" #1 idol...] to see him at the small diner.
That would have been pretty cool. :)

This is a question not really a knock against Trump...
As you said...I know some “election laws are screwy”.
But didn’t Trump rent out a movie theater in Iowa to show the new Benghazi movie for free for the theater goers?
Would there be any difference between a candidate buying lunch for diners or buying theater tickets?
Anyway just a trivial question...
I was just curious.
