Cruz has a problem with his voice. I speak as someone that uses their “voice” for pay. It does not resonate well to the ear. It has a certain high pitch that tends to grate on the ears, it tends to come from the nose. If perhaps he could learn to speak from the diaphragm to lower his nasal tone.
As for Trump. It has a certain raspy to my ear. It has proper lower tones and his voice does rise when he is excited.
Netanyahu. He has a deep voice, when he speaks whatever he is saying takes a sense of importance because of the deepness of his tone.
Just my thoughts regarding voice. For Cruz, it doesn’t help him and for the future he might want to consult a voice coach. For Trump, okay, not the greatest.

Let’s compare his voice to hellary’s voice- I’ll go with ?Ted any day thanks-
Ted does have a speech problem, but most of the other candidates on both sides have a morality problem- and hellary is extremely shrill and grating to go along with corrupt-
Cruz sounds like Dr. Strangelove to me. It fits, creepy voice, creepy guy.
Well, if we’re judging by voice tone, Obama should be your number 1 candidate because of that “deep tone” like Netanyahu.
