I hereby sign the Washi Accord, proclaiming my support for either of the two candidates, and none of the others.

I have avoided criticisms of either simply because I think they are the best we’ve got.
Better to get one or both of them elected, then ask them to keep their word and act conservatively.

I, and certainly others, have contemplated the same things.
What I do is to try to only read, and not to take sides, but to deal with only what is right, and what is wrong.
When someone makes a personal attack on me, the best response is no response. A person with narcissistic behavior can’t stand it when you ignore them.
I’ve developed this technique over years and years. It’s not just due to the recent debates. I’ve seen it many times in the past.
Personally, I like the description Monica’s ex-boyfriends wife, better than Mr’s. Bill Clinton.
I like both Trump and Cruz, I’ve never bashed either.
Can’t say that for Bush or Rubio though...oh yeah Carly and Kasich...those I’ll dump on, I try to be fair with all the rest.
It’s not much longer and I don’t think we’ll have the rest to deal with, I expect to see Trump, Cruz and Rubio make it past the early primaries, maybe Christie, who I don’t like much, but it won’t hurt my feelings to vote for either Trump or Cruz, I don’t think I’ve had a bad word to say about either.
One thing’s for sure, I’d vote for Kermit the Frog before I’d vote for Hillary...
The bottom line for me is that Trump and Cruz are the only two acceptable candidates, and in the end, the best man will prevail. This crap just comes with the territory as with any campaign.
I will vote for either guy. Whomever wins.

One thing is for sure. Whomever ends up being the
nominee will have already gone through complete hell, so facing off with the Dem nominee should be a breeze.
I doubt it, but if he actually managed to make a comeback AND chose an incredibly conservative VP, he might get some pragmatics here to support him over the Dem.
But we really have no reason to settle. Hillary has so much baggage, she will not win unless the GOP nominee is completely pathetic. (Unfortunately the GOPe seems to try hard to fill that order.)
Finally some sanity. These my-guys-$%^&-is-longer-than-your-guys-$%^& threads get old quick, and serve no value.
I have seen that small percentage of haters and trolls from both camps.
Best way to deal with it is to ‘set the example’,which is what WASHI is doing.
The more of us that refuse to take the bait, and set the example, the more we will dominate FR. FR is what we make it.
I think it’s great to read the informational posts from both camps. I read, think, and hopefully learn.
What is disheartening, and what is so unprofessional, are all the smears, name-calling, mocking, sarcasm, etc. that accompanies otherwise good articles.
I believe more strongly than ever that Rove has used his pawn, Cruz, to play the part of the conservative, when in reality, he is just another Bush RINO. If Trump does not win, it really does not matter who is elected, because the country’s last hope for liberty restoration will have vanished. God help us all, at that point.
But, to engage in name-calling, sarcasm, mocking, etc. is what tears at our cohesiveness, and aids the Tyrant. That is why it is my sincere hope that all will give serious thought and restraint before engaging in this level of posting.
