First, we do not know how much Russia and China spend. Second, their labor and materials costs are way below ours. Third, apparently Putin has not gotten this message. Fourth, this just makes Obama look more like a pansy as third world countries shake their fists in our face.

0 is a postmodernist. ‘Stronger’ can mean what ever he wants it to mean. The military is stronger because it’s more diverse he might say.

If we’re “militarily stronger than we’ve ever been” why was our military being defeated by “JV” ISIS until Russia got involved?

Too bad he can’t let it even smash a mob of bandits pretending to be holy warriors.

ISIS is the child of overly restrictive ROE.

Or it's stronger because he's purged all the upper echelons of patriots, leaving only cronies.

Exactly. In his mind, he's not lying. "Stronger" means we don't deny gays and transgenders or something.

Yep, the Sam Damons have left, leaving only the Courtney Massengales. I'm sure the Pentagon is full of REMFs and perfumed princes and princesses.

Zognuts needs a complete psych evaluation and a rubber room. His ridiculous statements sound like attempts to brainwash us into believing he’s the best thing since microwave popcorn.

Meanwhile 10 American sailors were sitting as hostages while he did NOTHING but bend over to get them released. If you don’t think every terrorist and dictator in the world was not watching, think again. Imagine the eye rolling in Moscow and Beijing. Unbelievable.

Not to mention he has downsized our Military so badly they are stretched thin now. And he’s replaced any Brass that would buck his gays, women in combat, co-ed barracks policies.

I know you meant that as a joke, but I honestly think that when asked if our military is stronger today than 7 years ago this is exactly what Obama has in mind when answering such questions.

In his view, allowing people with mental disorders to serve in the military, allowing physically inferior women to serve in combat, purging high ranking military officers, these are great triumphs in his mind while the rest of the human race hangs their collective head knowing our military has probably never been in worse shape than it is now.

We are operating with nuclear weapons designs that are 25 years old, the latest was the W-88 which Clinton allowed China to get the plans on. Our newest nuclear weapon physically is probably over 20 years old. Our subs, while good, are getting old. Our bombers are antiques, the newest B-52 is over fifty years old, the newest Minuteman is over 30. Even our newest heavy bombers, the B-2, is over 20 years old.

China may have 3000 strategic nuclear weapons by some accounts, new bombers, fighters, some stealth, and a vast array of cruise and ballistic missiles, all nuclear.

Russia, while not the Soviet monster it once was, still has many times the number of tactical nuclear weapons we do, and in fact, every conventional weapon they have seems to have a nuclear version.

And their strategic nuclear weapons are thought to be much more modern, with road mobile ICBMs, some with maneuvering warheads, new Submarines with new SLBMS, and newer Blackjack bombers they are suppose to start producing again, with a new cruise missile for it.

We HAD a substantial lead in technology, precision, and even numbers of the most important weapons, but we squandered it over 7 years of socialism.

I don’t know how Obama grades the level of ‘superpower’ in military terms, but if we don’t have a modern and capable nuclear deterrent force we certainly will not qualify.

At least the Air Force has gotten a lot more range time dumping ordnance on empty desert village near the Jordan border

Remind me now that we are in another standoff with the Iranians of how many carriers we have now in the Persian Gulf
