At a recent private dinner in Manhattan, a small group of leftists plotted to take over America.
The group, a dozen community organizers and activists from all over the country, had convened at a sushi restaurant in the Flatiron District with the leaders of the New York-based Working Families Party. They were heads of organizations from Boston to Albuquerque, with names like National People’s Action and Washington Community Action Network. And they were there to hear why their states should form their own chapters of the insurgent party, in order to capitalize on the country's rising liberal tide and push the national conversation leftward.
The party’s deputy director, Jon Green, a pale, bespectacled 42-year-old, made the pitch. "In 2010, we saw the Tea Party yank the entire political discourse way to the right," he said. The Tea Party was powerful, he said, because it was boldly ideological; it recruited and groomed candidates; and it created a strong national brand. "Our view is that there isn't anything analogous to that on the left, and there ought to be." Heads nodded around the table.

They’re all candidates for the gallows, the firing squad or deportation to the workers paradise of our choice, not theirs.
What rising liberal tide? The left suffered it’s worst defeat in the last election since the 1920’s.
Won’t happen.
But who knows? Maybe they’ll start having accidents.

Yes.....of course.....just go and ask anyone if you can have half of everything they own.
Everyone is real liberal. That’s why the Democrats have to lie and deceive and obscure and threaten to get what they want.
Notice the lack of reference to the actual ideas themselves, and their relevance to the truth, or making the US better.
In way, the left are exactly the capitalists they claim to hate - what can we sell for how great a price no matter how worthless or poisonous - just so we are paid in power. And, of course, that supports the truism that whatever a lefty is accusing you of is exactly what they are doing, consciously or not.
One could ask a Liberal - "if you hate all these things, why are you always the one's caught actually doing them?" Abusing women, lying, holding down blacks, faking hate crimes, your own primary has a nothing-but-cracker roster and where you aren't anything-but-cracker it's by affirmative action. WIth Muslims -> At least the right actually shows Islam respect .. by paying attention to what Mo actual demanded and wrote, and treating Muslims as sincere practitioners/submitters to it. Saying 'you can't come into my country if you subscribe to that' is a show of respect that they are sincere, not oppression.
What happened to the coffee party?
It's actually a three-headed monster of academia, the entertainment industry, and the media. The Tea Party has been waging battle against the monster only for a few years. It will be a long battle.
I believe the WFP cross-endorsed Hillary in both of her Senate elections.
