Who continues to hire these over paid under achieving dolts?
“A person close to Couric said her videos had attracted more than 150 million streams so far this year, and that viewers between the ages of 18 and 34 had watched them for an average of more than 3 minutes a piece, compared to about 2 minutes for the typical Yahoo News video. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.”
So $20 Million spent (2 years) for 150 Million views for an average of 3 minutes each? So to break even, Yahoo has to be getting .13 per 3 minutes of Couric video view... Lets do some math shall we... Your typical streaming service pays the artist $0.002, that’s right to make just 1 penny on a music streaming service, 5 people have to listen to your song... Courics videos are being watch for roughly the length of a typical song... So, that means she’s being paid 6000 times the worth of 3 minutes of streaming entertainment... granted I am using purely audio vs video, but still, I think you can understand that its pretty obvious Yahoo is losing money, and a lot of it, on Couric.
Yahoo websites are a mess at best. Their links do not work or the video is not working or the comments do not open. The email was reorganized and the display is a mess. I use yahoo email for purchases so my other email does not get spam. Yahoo gets lots of spam. You have to use the spam filter daily or you will be overwhelmed by it.
The days of 3 network garbage feeding are over. Yahoo should have known that more than anyone else. Why would anyone choose Couricraps fecal feast over the thousands of identical ones?

Couric cratered after the heavily edited attack on Gov. Sarah Palin. She caused her network to lose half of its audience.
When she debuted her ABC show, NBC booked Gov. Palin against Couric, giving NBC its biggest rating boost in recent memory. Couric was immediately obliterated in the backwash and her show never recovered.
The only time I’ve watched her since her heavily edited interview attack on Gov. Palin was the NBC triumph over Couric and her disastrous interview with Texas Senator Ted Cruz who destroyed her.
It was like a debate between Justice Scalia and Sotomayor: No prisoners! No match!
So, she’s ruined a company?
Let’s have her run for President, to show there is no GOP War on Women™!
