well said on all posts.
Why anyone would think the Turks are an ally of ours is beyond me.
They should be kicked out of NATO, never let into Europe, and should have sanctions placed on them.

Especially if they’re really there training Iraqi assets and have troops there for protection since Iraq is unable to supply sufficient force to do that.

"This was my daily chuckle here."
Except it won't be very funny if Iraq asks the Russians to help them like they are helping Syria.

"It might not be idle talk, Iraq has a new alliance with the Russians."
Correct. They have already given Russia unlimited over flight and participate in intelligence gathering and sharing.
If they asked Russia to help them clear the country of Turks, I'm certain Russia would respond favorably.
I don't know what the Middle East looks like after that, but it'll certainly be different.

No matter how it's all framed this is simply the old story of war between Shites and Sunnies colored with the various Muslim sects and tribes never quite making up their minds who they stand with.
Erdogan is fueling 'all of it' and playing as if he's already the "Sultan" of the mighty Ottoman Empire....while he has his hand in the pockets of Europe and the US to fund his Agenda.
The East is like a big plate of spagetti with bloody red sauce running throughout it. That will never change as they are all a people of war and violence....toward others, toward themselves, and toward their very families....and we are importing it!

In response to the threats from Iraq, Turkish prime minister Davutoßlu shot back, saying that Iraq has no right to tell Turkey what to do since it doesn't control up to a third of its own territory. One of the classic excuses for war, and not without some merit.
We could claim the same of Mexico.

So in those areas where the Kurds have control does this mean the Kurds can have their own country?

Whatever you’re saying, has nothing to do with what I said. Start a new topic on it and see what responses you get.
