Just uproot the Raiders from Oakland and have them play all 16 games as a visiting team in other stadiums. They can be called “Raiders of the Lost Park”.

Actually football is fairly popular with Mexicans. They have a good college system and every time the NFL plays a game down there, a 100,000 fans show up.

Problem is, they’re all Dallas fans.

The same reason. Stadium improvements. The Coliseum Commission was inept. They ran the Rams off to Anaheim and the Raiders back to Oakland. Georgia got a sweet deal from St. Louis and it was adios California.

When I lived in Berkeley in 1990’s I would visit the Hyatt hotel in Oakland during Raider away games and join the Black Hole Gang and Raider fans at the hotel. Huge 6’6” guys with tattoos and their dates.
