I finally went down to the Wellesley police station yesterday morning to fill out the necessary paperwork and pay $100 to get myself a gun permit.
After getting my firearms safety certificate, I’d been dragging my feet for months. But I finally wised up after this latest Islamist terrorist massacre, in San Bernardino. As appalling as the slaughter was, what was even more shocking was the reaction of the cops and the media.
What could the terrorists’ 
motive possibly be? How many times did you hear that absurd question asked? Were you yelling at the TV set too?
And how come no networks 
replayed Obama saying three weeks ago that ISIS was “contained?†Think they’d have given George Bush that kind of pass?
Neither cops nor the media dared tell the un-PC truth, that this was yet another terror attack by Muslims, one of whom was an alien. Nobody from Boston has any illusions about the FBI — Famous But 
Incompetent. But they’re worse than ever. Did you see that G-man from the LA office, making like 
Inspector Clouseau — “I suspect everyone, I suspect no one.â€
It was pathetic enough to make you almost nostalgic for the 
super-sleuths of yesteryear like Zip Connolly, Vino Morris and Agent 
Orange. I mean, on Dec. 8, 1941, did J. Edgar Hoover announce that there was a possibility that the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, but that he was keeping an open mind?
But the media were even worse. First they tried to claim it was a Planned Parenthood attack — thanks, Bloomberg! Then somebody said it was probably right-wingers angered by the government helping disabled children.
A New York rag blamed it on the skinhead meth gangs that abound around Berdoo — like your average motorcycle gang cares about a Christmas party. And finally, the 
inevitable moonbat fallback … workplace violence.
That’s Barack Obama’s favorite excuse for terrorism. And you know the best way to fight terror — I mean workplace violence. Common-sense gun-safety laws. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Common sense — take away the guns from law-abiding people so that they can’t defend themselves against the terrorists and the gangbangers who don’t give a flying bleep about the law.
Common sense indeed.
By the way, while we’re passing meaningless feel-good legislation, why don’t we pass some common-sense pressure-cooker-safety laws — a seven-day waiting period to buy one. Ditto Crock-Pots, which Obama believes the Tsarnaevs used.
And let’s close the yard-sale loophole too — do you know, you can buy a Crock-Pot any Saturday and not have to have your name run through the database? We need CPIDs — Crock-Pot IDs.
And by the way, these were lone wolves. Homegrown lone wolves named Syed and Tashfeen. Just like Speedbump and the Joker — two homegrown lone wolves from the Third World living on welfare for a decade while they trained to kill Americans.
Back at the police station, the 
officer was asking me the required list of questions: “Reason(s) for requesting the issuance of a card or license.â€
I thought about replying, the 
Immigration Reform Act of 1965. But that was too obscure.
How about just saying Ted Kennedy? But this is not a moment to come across as … weird.
“How about personal protection?†I finally told the cop. 
“I think I can make that one stand up.â€
Meanwhile, all I want for Christmas is a thousand hollow-point bullets.

I think with asshat Obama in charge along with the support such as it is of his hand picked loonies the entire government is in a state of chaos, and PC has expanded into the realm once known as cover your ass. Nothing is working, and we’ve a year to go with this.

What is even worse is MSM follow up. Normally MSM would be all over this doing a follow up. Stories on who the victims were and the impact on the families. Kris Kroft a Texas talk show host on am 820 did a short piece on this but the talkies because of staffing usually rely on developed investigative material done by the networks because they can assign someone to do a story. Which they are not doing.
As bankrupt as his handling of national security has been, how much document destruction is going to occur before he leaves office?
We know Bill Clinton's personal crook stole damning paperwork from the National Archives that implicated the Clinton White House in what became the 9-11 attacks.
