There is a cop/special forces guy that is trying to change all of that and trying to do talks at schools. Either flight or fight. Flee if you can, but not into a closest or room that you can’t escape from.
If you can’t flee (he is talking to unarmed school kids remember), fight AS A GROUP.
Me? If I had the opportunity I would take cover and then start shooting. If I didn’t - just start shooting and praying.

The very capable sounding SanBern police spokesman, was proud that they were at the site in 2 mins .... Carnage happens in less than 2 minutes. The cops did the best they could, under the circumstances, IMO.They probably did do the best they could under the circumstances. The whole point is that most circumstances do not give them time to respond in a meaningful manner, so the best protection comes from the potential victims themselves.
