A German scientist has accused the National Aeronautics and Space Agency's (NASA) Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS) of altering temperature records between 2010 and 2012 to produce the illusion that the Earth has been warming since 1950.
GISS datasets are used by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to document global warming.
In a presentation at the 2012 EIKE Climate Conference in Germany, Professor Friedrich-Karl Ewert, a retired geologist and data expert from the University of Paderborn, said that he examined publicly available archived temperature records from 1,153 weather stations around the globe going back to 1881 and found evidence of "massive" tampering by GISS between 2010 and 2012.
Ewert noticed that "the temperature data of Reykjavik [Iceland] and Nuuk Nuur [Greenland] had been changed retroactively," veteran German television journalist Gunter Ederer writes. The 2012 data was higher than the temperatures recorded before 2010. ...

Obama is tossing around a stat that 2/3s of all Americans are behind him on global warming. Where did he get this stat?
If true, we are all screwed and expect a major increase in our taxes very soon starting with a carbon tax. After that, then in the not too distant future, the UN will be allowed to dictate to us how we run our economy.

“Climate scientist” == zero credibility and integrity. I’m sure there are a few good ones in there somewhere. However, as an “industry” they have become more corrupt than politicians, lawyers, and used car salesmen. Probably because politicians and lawyers are using them to try to advance their agenda.
I think the bigger story here is how Big Oil and the Koch brothers traveled back in time to alter the temperature records for all of those weather stations.
The leaked East Anglia emails a few years ago also confirmed manipulation of the temperature data to hide the temperature decline being observed for two decades. Global warming is a hoax being perpetrated solely for political reasons.

Who can we trust? NASA was one place I thought was above politics—now its just a shil for Obama and his Cabal—just like the IRS, Jusitce Department and supream count. All have been tarnished by his corrupting touch. We will take years to clean out all of the diseased corruption that infests our government—if its even possible. We are becoming Byzantium in our corruption—or if not that—New Orleans.
