The Salvation Army is considering making cuts if goals aren't met during its Christmas campaign.
One place at which the Salvation Army is considering eliminating some services is the Harbor Light Center in Minneapolis. The shelter houses about 500 people a night and serves 1,000 meals a day.
"We're really in that process right now looking where we might make cuts if we have to. Hopefully we won't need to," Jeff Strickler, Salvation Army Twin Cities Commander, said.
People who use the shelter said they hope donations pour in so services aren't cut.
"It would be tragedy," Donald Blacklock said. "The programs that are in place there are nothing but to help people."
The Salvation Army's goal is to hit $ 11.6 million during its Christmas campaign; right now it has raised $2.1 million.

This happened about 10 minutes from where I am currently sitting.
Define the goal and meet it with hard work.
Need to pluck those Twin Cities Progressive heart strings.
