To: Vision

I never thought about freezing sides, such as sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, etc... for later use. Is that something you can do? Do those types of things freeze well?

Turkey was all gone....

Yes, most side dishes like that will freeze quite well (dressing, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole). It’s a shame to waste such good food. We’ll crave it again in a few days. :-) Of course, it will also keep in the fridge for several days, as it is.

As Gina said, yes. I even freeze bits of sauces to save later. My deep freeze goes to -10f and a year later it’s still pretty good.
