... University of Massachusetts found those who experienced PMS were 40 percent more likely to develop hypertension later in life.

Symptoms of PMS include, but are not limited to mood swings, abdominal pain, breast tenderness, headaches and bloating. Previously known risk factors for hypertension include high body mass index, smoking, drinking and age.

Well, the water retention is what causes most of those symptoms, so I can see it being tied to BP, as most (not all) with High BP need to take diuretics.

That, and you want to eat every SALTY, chocolatey thing you can get your hands on. Chocolate Dipped pretzels of tater chips are good, LOL!

Thank Gawd I’m done with all of that nonsense.

High blood pressure? This applies to men, right? Based on the many girlfriends I;ve had in my life, PMS probably almost killed ME on more than a few instances.

Do women (natural & ‘other’)typically go swimming with big hoop earrings? Seems to me, that is a hazard that may get hooked onto something floating in the water. But then, I can barely even float, so what do I know?

Meanwhile, the rocket scientists at the University of California, Berkeley have made the startling discovery that every single person that has eaten a carrot in the entire history of mankind has died.

Keep a calendar.

It doesn’t prevent anything, but it does give you a better sense on when to duck.
