You wouldn’t survive a day at my house. I live in the Missouri woods, spiders are a hourly occurrence it seems. Step out into the garage doorway and look out for webs. (I still hate that.)

I know the logic is flawed.
It’s like being afraid to get in a plane but not being afraid of cars.
I would walk the Manhattan streets at 3am after my shift used to end in Manhattan.
But I’ll get faint at the sight of spiders that are probably the smallest ones you’ve ever seen.
