Once again we turn to comic KungFu. This one has lots of famous actors in it. It has more of a plot than a lot of these so you really have to watch what is going on.

The subtitles are pretty well done

Enjoy

While I know that you usually post Asian movies, I would like to point you to “The Painted Veil”. While it is done in English with American actors as the main characters, it deals with the cholera outbreak during the “Boxer Rebellion”. It is already on youku with Chinese sub-titles. I found it to be very informative of the Chinese culture and may be helpful to others.

Asian Cinema, especially work from Taiwan, China, or Japan can be fascinating. The only drawback is the tendency for some of these films to be so elaborative on character development, that they can seem to drag on.

Thinking on those I have seen recently...
Riding Alone For Thousands of miles
Secret (Mega plot twist in this one)
Maiko Haaaaaan
Still Walking
Snow Flower and Secret fan
Ocean Heaven (Jet Li in a non martial arts story)
Assembly
Good stuff in all of them.
