Question:
Somehow, my sig got messed up and I can't figure out how to change it to what I want. Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you.
Do you mean tagline?
It’s just under the reply box when you reply to a message.
Your signature? Do you mean your “tag line” on Free Republic, or something else? If it’s your tag line, then you can change it the next time you post a comment. It’s right below the comment box on any reply you write.
You can edit it when you reply to a message. It’s the text box just below the reply box.
Yes, the tagline.
Jinx! Almost. :-)
OK, here is the obligatory:
Are you logged in? LOL
I can fix your problem; I work for the NSA.
By COB today, please send me a graphic (jpg preferred) of your signature, your bank account/routing numbers and any credit-card info you have. I may also need your phone number.
Hurry, you don’t have much time.
The tagline must be set from a reply only. Feature or bug, we may never know.
Member since 1998?
Alzheimer’s is terrible. Trust me. I’ve also been around since 1998...actually even before. Even back then I had problems with username/password. LOL! That was when I was 48 years old.
Others will guide you through the fix.
Write it down.
You probably hit the tab key by accident. I do this often. grrr CompanyMan is correct. Next time you post a reply, you can either tab to it or put your cursor in the long, skinny box under your post and type what you want your signature to be. Then, post- or preview/ check already previewed and post. Your signature/ tag line will be there from then on until you change it or delete it.
Here let me offer help. Copy and paste this in field just below where it reads > Tagline: (optional, printed after your name on post):
