•Amending the Tort Claims Act to ensure counties are fully financially responsible for the actions of any illegal immigrants who are released because the county’s Sheriff failed to honor an ICE detainer request. That's the measure that will actually fix this problem.

Yup. Abbot knows his way around tort and liability.
The county judges and attorneys will make the decision for that “wise latina” and her BS. You gotta get in the pocket book. The downside is is will create a field day for the trial attorneys.

The city of Houston is a sanctuary city for illegals. It’s in Harris county. Hope the Governor is on that one.
